These terms apply to your use of selectsidmouth.com (“the site”), operated by J Sharp, trading as Select Sidmouth (“we”, “us”), contactable at hello@selectsidmouth.com. By using the site you accept these terms.
About the site
Select Sidmouth is an independent visitor guide to Sidmouth and the Sid Valley. We are not the provider of the accommodation, food, drink, events or activities listed.
Accuracy of information
We take care to keep information accurate, but details such as opening times, prices, offers and events can change. Please check directly with the business or organiser before you travel or book.
Bookings and third-party sites
Select Sidmouth is an information and listings website. We do not take bookings, reservations or payments for accommodation or any other service, and we are not a party to any booking or purchase you make.
Any booking you make, whether directly with a property or business or through a third-party website such as Booking.com, is a contract between you and the property or provider concerned, not with Select Sidmouth. It is governed by that provider’s own terms and, where applicable, the terms of the third-party website. Prices, availability, facilities, cancellation, refunds and payment are the responsibility of the provider, and any questions or complaints should be raised with them directly.
Some links take you to third-party websites, including Booking.com. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or services. We may earn a commission when you book through some links, at no extra cost to you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any booking, stay, payment, cancellation or dispute between you and a provider.
Walks, maps and outdoor activities
Walking routes, route descriptions, town maps and downloadable PDF maps on the site are provided for general guidance only. They are not a substitute for an up-to-date Ordnance Survey map, a compass or your own judgement, and they may not match conditions on the ground.
Paths, cliffs, steps and conditions change without notice. Landslips and rockfalls occur on this coast, paths may be closed or diverted, and tides can cut off beaches. You undertake any walk or outdoor activity at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety and that of anyone with you. Please check the weather and tide times, wear suitable footwear and clothing, follow local signage and diversions, and keep well back from cliff edges and cliff bases.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss, injury or damage arising from use of the routes or maps on the site.
Member listings and offers
Business members are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and offers. Offers are subject to availability and to each business’s own terms.

Business membership is coming soon. The fee, renewal, cancellation and refund terms will be set out at sign-up. If you are interested, please email hello@selectsidmouth.com.
